This month’s magazine has two tech talks, the first by R&D Engineer Mark Nyholm on how lubrication requirements change when you boost a diesel truck. Trucks (particularly the ones with turbos) need high quality oils to keep them running effectively and for a long period of time. Our fuel additives are extremely popular in the US and around the world. Pages 8-9 go into some detail on our gasoline fuel additives and their benefits, with information on the diesel offerings as well. Page 10 has an article on some tactics that work well for US Dealers to sell products for “spring oil changes” in the US. While it is perhaps not spring where you are located, some of the tips that have worked well for Dealers in North America may resonate for you and your repair shops locally. Pages 12-13 discusses dirt-bike maintenance tips. Covering everything from lubrication needs to checking your chain, keeping things clean, and checking for leaks, this article is a good reminder for all dirt bike owners.
