Motorcycles have different lubrication requirements than automobiles due primarily to differences in design of the engines as well as vehicle applications. Motorcycles also tend to operate under more severe conditions and also may operate only during certain times of the year, depending on the region. Motorcycle oils must also prevent foam which can be very harmful to your motorcycle.
